queensland St Lucia....Saturday June 20

Girlfriend has an intake exam at the university tomorrow from 8:30am so I want to fish the river for 3 or 4 hours aqnd try and get a bit of cast net practice in.

Any tips on good spots to fish from in that area?

Anyone want to join me? especially those with cast net skills ^^

I might be able to join, throw a few lures around or soak a livie I don't mind. My castnet skills arnt the best but i have caught plenty of bait in the past lol.

Not sure as I don't know the area.....guess I'll just look for somewhere upon arrival if I don't get pointed in the right direction before mourning.

On google maps I see a few likely spots by the roundabout near the tennis courts on sir william macgregor drive, dunno if there is access to the jetty's there but theres a few rockwalls by the looks of things as well.....

I live at Westlake which is the western suburbs of brisbane near jindalee / mt ommaney.

But tomorrow morning my mum is heading that way so i could probly catch a lift.
