thank u to both of u. do you know about how much it would run to rent for a day? our tinnies here(fiberglass) rent for 70 dollars the whole day with a bait tank.

there is a company that rents tinny's out in currumbin creek i think. Currumbin is just up the road from tugan.

i was lookin at that. now are these boats out on the water already or do you actually have to tow them yourelf? if they are all around the same price forget it i think ill stay landbased. it isnt like i have a fishfinder or trolling motor so i can keep a decent drift anyways. lol. thanks all for your help.

the ones at currumbin are already in the water and its where the bait and tackle store is right on the creek near the small bridge

i think there is a place near the tweed river that not that far and it is great fishing in the tweed

tweed needs a license right? where do i get the license if i decide to go? i envy you guys. our license is 40 for a year. then you have to get a saltwater enhancement stamp 5 then if you want to fish two rods in the lakes then its another 12. then there is a bay/delta stamp for northern california 8.i spend at least 57 every year just for the license.

there is a place at tweed where you can hire tinnies and house boats http://www.tweedriverboathire.com.au/ i think if you hire the boat the fishing licence goes with you. just check the link and its pretty close to tugan as well.
