getting there mate those sol's are good value for the coin the normal fi stradics are cheaper just spool it up with decent line and get one or two better rods (ditch the catana)

the sol having two spools you can for example get 4-6lbs braid on one and straight through flurocarbon if you like flats on the other or even 8-10lbs braid if you want to try some bigger stuff

slowly building up my arsenal:

1. stradic 2500 on a 2 pce finesse bream shimano raider rod (no bait allowed on this rod)

2. Sedona 2500 on a shimano SSS 3-5kg rod (great setup. have caught countless fish on this setup!!)

3. abu cardinal 704 waiting to be paired with a med snapper rod

4. good old alvey on a 12foot live fibre surf rod

5. cruxis baitcast on a 1 pce shimano barra raider 6-10kg

6. currently building an overhead rod to suit an okuma catalina ct-30

7. various other rods ive collected over the years

and the rod set will keep growing i hope!!

Future:

upgrade to some better gear over the next few years

elops that old school stradic iv got that model in 2000 size(white with wooden handle) you have some nice gear i love my little twin power and the mrs stradic ci4 but would be nice to own afew reels that are a cut above these

what Gloomis's are you using? looking at ither two gloomis or two jackall poison as an upgrade from my GL2 spin jig rod (my plastics/vibes rod) and berkley dropshot (used for hardbodies)

Replaced just today by a Daiwa SeaJigger 325 15-30 Pound Spin Rod matched with a Daiwa Saltist 4500H.

Spooled with 30 Pound Mono and a top shot of 150 yards of FINNS braid.
