Digging through my bait freezer and giving it an overdue defrost and I found a packet of pillys that I had salted down yonks ago so I decided to handline tailer around Snipe.

Left home 5.15 back at 7pm with 6 choppers between 35 and 40cm released around 4 under 35.

Not bad for 25 shrivelled up pillys.

just finished fresh tailer in breadcrumbs for tea.

and I bet you had a ball ! as much as i love lure fishin, the old bait soaking holds a place in my heart too.

what was the weather like? I spoke to a number of people today at Sandgate boat ramp that had been out in the bay and it was blowing hard and very uncomfortable...hope you had better.
