queensland NPD 22/8/09

My plan originally was to got to Wivenhoe and renew my assocoate membership of the sailing club but when i looked at my boating permit i saw that it had expired a week ago so scrooge said buggerit not going to pay an extra $20 for boating permit( that is what they hit you up if you dont renew it before due date) plus the fact that the Sailing clubs fees have also gone up $15 .

Decided there are plenty of other spots that I can catch big catfish :blush:

Alarm was set and boat ready so off I went to NPD.

Nice glassed out morning till around 9am till the wind started from south east and then swung around to the west.

Back at ramp around 11.30 after nice relaxing morning.

Oh the fishing.

Donut.Trolled a NPD purple Napjaru, purple blitzbagge, and a megabass and a spinnerbait all morning without a hit.

6 shrimp.

24 small redclaw that I am going to try for bait in the salt tomorrow.

I was there today as well. Bloody wind came up from the NW , must of being 20-25knots. No wonder no one else was on the dam.
