Hey everyone, wind is looking favourable to balloon a bait out this afternoon from the shorncliffe jetty. Just wondering if anyone is keen on joining me. Probably be there about 1:30 till 5-5:30.

no worries travis, btw if anyone is worried about bait, no need to bring any unless you wish, i have a few jellybean sized mach tuna to use.

G'day Keechie,

Might still be a little early in the season for sharks at Shorncliffe mate. The strong NW winds will certainly put your bait out there though!

Your best best is to fish from Mid October onward, using a fresh mullet for bait on a strong SE wind, where your bait floats in toward the church. Number 1 rule, is that you have your bait on the bottom.

Tide doesn't matter to much here. Just make sure your fishing during the day on the hottest days possible.

Thanks for the tips there simon will keep that in mind. Unfortunetly didn't get out there, bait defrosted gear all tied and ready got outside and had a flat tire, way to ruin my day haha, Maybe another time.
