Cobra V Tassie devils

Scored myself some Cobra's on Ebay tonight, $12 for 10. (Postage included coz I was already buying a new boat strap from seller)

So I will be able to compare them against my Tassie devils for performance. Mind you they wont have to perform all that well, in 4 trips where I have used them, I have not got so much as a bite on a tassie yet! Well they arrived, as they were a left over card I have 10 of the same lure! not that that worries me for the price!

Anyway pulled them down, they are better made than the Tassie devils, the centre core is brass wire (as in swivels)the loops are very neat and circular (tassie devils loops in the stainless wire looks like a one eyed drunk made them!) and the top end of the wire is actually attached to a swivel which is internal to the lure.

There is a very small plastic retainer which stops the centre wire and hook from falling out / moving, which is great - how many of you have picked up as Tassie, only to pull every centre wire out of the other ones in the same storage compartment! Takes a bit of effort to remove it, so it should not come off on its own.

They use a hook instead of a treble, dunno if I like that or not, time will tell. [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/P1060068.jpg
