OZ Gear - Wilson Rods

I am picking up 3x Wilson rods soon.

What I was wondering is that, does anybody use a \"Wilson Champion Trophy\" in whatever size?

These are are beautiful rods, light weight, sensitive and strong to its class. A great caster.

The rods I`am buying are as follows:

13`6\" Surf 6-10kg -

12` Surf 6kg -

10`.6\" Surf or Estuary 4-6kg

I have posted this question in other sites, and nobody has a clue. Thats O.K. though `cause I know enough to want 3x of them. Just interested in others opinion.

Cheers.

Just can`t have enough gear.

I use a Wilson surf rod. It is a good graphite rod, 13foot. Its from before rod makers rated rods in kilo's, I've had it 25 years plus. Replace the casting runner on it last year, as it got stood on. While I was at it I put some more varnish on the binding's as it was wearing thin in places.

I dont buy rods on model or brand, I pick em up and see how they feel, have a few practice casts. If I like the feel and price I buy em!
