queensland Hinterland Bass 19/20 Feb

Had a nice little diversion from the dam fishing fri arvo and sat morning, slipped down to the sons place in the GC hinterland and done a spot of skinny water fishing. Only picked up a couple for the arvo session, but had a good session this morning, or I should say 2 sessions this morning. Started at daylight on my own, then slipped back at 8.30am for brekky and after took the son down for a session. There were several surface fish caught early, then when the sun got up I targetted the shadows. I ended up with over 20 in the first session and then picked a few more as the morning moved on. Managed a mongrel carp on a sx40 also. A variety of lures used including sx40,ecogear shallow minnow LGM gave me,jackal chubby,s/baits and some others. Biggest bass 39cm smallest 20cm.
