poppers in the river

hey guys,

just wondering has anyone been using surface lures (poppers) in the river at all i.e kooka or colledges etc and if so what species where landed? been reading a magazine where there using 4cm poppers and pulling in flathead and bream and want to know if any one has done the same at these area's

flathead on popper must of been the off the bank

not bad though

and i think not too many use poppers or surface lures in those areas although i wouldnt mind having a go next shark season on the right moon

hey mate i couldnt believe the picks ethier its in modern fishing april edition comes with free timber wolf popper too quite a good one
