Waverider buoys

Most of you probably have this site but thought I would post it anyway, worth book marking it here and not through a 3rd party site that gets paid traffic.

Believe there site one site that the owner supports closing the bay to fishing.

Jeff - there's more than one buoy/area that they cover.

Feral - It gives an indication of what the swell and chop thereon is (and has been).

Similar info to what you get from seabreeze and the other weather info sites. It's a good idea not to rely on one info source when it comes to boating I reckon.

If heading out to the bay you should always have a forecast and it can be useful to also look at sites like sea breeze etc, the wave rider buoy's will show what's actually happening. Generally I don't bother going if wave height is over 0.7M as its going to be slow and with wind over 15 knots there is likely to be white caps. Worth noting there is not much swell in Morton bay so the wave height is the actual wave height.
