1971 P125A 'opinions or thoughts'

Evening all,

I have a Yamaha P125A sitting in my shed, and I was considering my options for this old beast.

It runs well, has great compression, but has a few niggly problems.

1. Nut in the prop is bent due to an unusually strong sheer pin breaking late

2. Port cover on the lower leg does not seal properly, must be replaced

3. Accelatator does npt spring back to idle position, must be wound manually via the tiller

4. Fuel pump/gasket may need replacing, or line may have an air leak

Apart from these dramas, it goes hard and I don't want to part with it, however I am yet to find an outboard mechanic who will even consider looking at it.

Any opinions or thoughts?
