Yeah we certainly did, lucky for me you did not come though, I ended up with Ray's spare motor on the transom, and mine played up after lunch. Over near the other ramp, turned handle - nothing. thumped it banged it, worked connections, it would run sporadically, got it running in top and headed home with it farting along next to rays motor. Ray reckons it is probably the speed controller packed it in, so of to see of Kmart will honour there warranty monday. (I've had trouble with the before)

Would have been a long row back without the spare motor!

Its run like a swiss watch up until now, its a sportsfisher 54lb transom mount.

Sorry gigantor missed your post mate. I was just using 6lb mono straight to the lure. The lure you have there is indeed very similar to mine. If you work the deeper areas around the middle of the dam you should do well. A good troll is a straight line between the two towers always works a treat.
