Brisbane river fishing

Mate welcome to the site.

Have a look through the Brisbane River & Creeks reports sections. There is so much info there in the form of reports etc you should read before asking generic questions. The Brisbane River is a big place. Work out what you need to know and then ask.

A lot of people with a wealth of info wont bother answering the really generic ones like this because the info is already all here ready to be read!

Cheers.

Welcome to the site mate. :fishing:

Depends on whether ur landbased or boat mate.

Mouth of river generally good for boat, but further down towards Breaky Creek, Bulimba, West End, Kanga Point are all not too bad for landbased.

Sorry mate, but there is a million places you can fish.

As Angus mentioned, go through some reports or type in the fish ur chasin in the search forum tab, and see what reports come up.

cheers

i find any where heading back towards karalee isnt too bad, but i think youll find that the colder months it gets a bit quieter up this end of the river. if you can get a hold of some eel you can probably still land the odd shark any where around goodna just anchor up somewhere crack a tinny and wait. and dont forget the wire trace. also try fishing the mouths of the small feeder creeks around that area with live local bait eg small mullet or river prawns on the outgoing tide. hope this helps.
