Four days to go till I hit the Montebello Islands.

Well it's not long now till I head out to WA's Montebello Islands on Bluejuice Charters for a 6-night liveaboard charter. You might have caught a peek of what the fishing is like on iFish yesterday... plenty more fish there than squid, spanglies and sanish flag though I tell you.

I think I've finally finished pulling everything together that I think I need... now I've just got to work out how I can make it all fit in under the baggage limit of 20kgs! Might be a big ask I reckon.

Good supply of placcies for shallow water fishing and a couple of big poppers for GT time.

One new setup - Ajiking Pro Jigger on a Lemax SlimMax PE2-4 for light jigging around the islands

Another new setup - Saragosa 5000 on a Ajiking Samson PE3-6 for medium jigging offshore

You've got to love the buzz of seeing all your gear laid out before a big trip.

We fly out to Exmouth on Friday morning and begin steaming out to the islands sometime that night ready to fish after brekky Saturday morning. Woot! :woohoo:
