hit the lake up again today and was joined by my father in law and brother in law.

the day turned out to be another eventful day with a few species landed.

unfortunatly jack the jack didn't want to come out and play, however late in the afternoon my rod buckled over and line was peeling out. by the time i'd lunged for the rod it was all over:pinch:

so reeled the lure in to find the trebbles were broken off:evil:

oh well ya can't win them all.

but all in all another great was had with 11 fish landed between us.

now for a couple of pics.

cheers.

i have never caught one down this way. It has been interesting to see the recent reports about them. Way to go Fergie. I am gong to have to give the salt a go again soon. What brand where the trebles?. That is some serious force to break the trebles.

mate the brand of the trebbles i use is owner but the trebbles are small, (cause there on a small lure) so would't take much for an aggresive fish to brake them. that's the down falls of using light gear.
