queensland hitting awoonga escapee barra in the boyne

hey guys,

heading upto tannum sands to visit the oldies during easter, so with them only living 3 min away from a prime spot on the boyne river renoun for it producing plenty of escapee barra. my step brother has a photo of him holding 2 1m+ barra caught last week and not many are caught under a 1m, apparently they're still on the bite. so it should be good. If i catch anything a report will follow.

I think that the supply may be in the process of being replentished as they have had more rain there.Half a metre going over spillway according to GAWB site.

how'd you go? we couldn't raise a barra unfortunately, couldn't get a single stretch of water to ourselves without another boatie giving us wake.
