queensland PB – 52 cm Flathead on a lure

I bought myself a 2-4 kg Abu Garcia Cardinal Combo from Anaconda on Friday. It comes with a 401i (8 bearing) spin. I loaded it with 8p braid. Very nice setup and very reasonably priced at Anaconda for $89. I went out to the Hornibrook Bridge on Sunday and landed by personal best Flathead with the new setup (52 cm). Best of all, it was the first fish I have ever caught on a lure (in picture).
