queensland river session last night 16.05.11

my friend wanted to go for a fish last night in the river and asked if i wanted to go. he came picked me up and on our way fishing around the usual spots. didnt have much luck so went to mowbray park for a shot as we havent fished their for awhile. we were getting small catfish and so on then boom! a solid hit for me. after abit of a fight landed a 62cm threaddy. good fun still :woohoo: . all fish were caught using live prawns.

meat quality on threaddy is average imo. anyone else think more or less of it?

Funny you say that, was watching a fishing show on the weekend and the bloke caught a threaddy and rated quiet highly
