AFO Trips / Events - want more?

For those who had a great time at the AFO Hinze weekend, and want to be involved in another AFO event - dont forget that Lozzel is putting together a charter for some deep sea fishing on the 1st of September,

We were also talking about a somerset trip in early may, but but that is on hold at this point until July / August. As soon as Brian has finished \"end of yearing\" I will be seeing what dates suite him and getting it moving again.

There have been quite a few successful AFO events over the last 18 months or so, and they are going from strength to strength! From Memory we have done

Baroon - 2 Majors + a few times smaller groups

Awoonga

Lenthalls

Hinze 2 Majors + a few times smaller groups

Wello Point

Barra Farm at Bli Bli

and of course the Brisbane River Classic itself!

hey feral wheres awoonga? is it far? i take it you can still use gas powered boats if so it sounds pretty tempting

Krisco, Awoonga is about a 7 hour trip, just south of Gladstone. You can use the Queen Mary if you can launch her! no restrictions at all.

Ray caught a 1.3m Barra there on the last trip, Ferg got a 1m plus Barra, and Brian a couple of good uns. I got fish envy!
