legal size limits for flathead?

hey guys, The legal size limits for flathead is between 40 and 70cm right? anyway the guy who works at the marina where i hired my houseboat from reckons that rule only applies to the dusky flathead and that sand flathead etc is still 30cm and no limits on max size

Does anyone know if he is right? i think his wrong

He is correct. There is no bag limit either, whereas Duskies have a bag limit of 5

Thats true though but i tend to release flathead from about 60cm plus as the tend to be loaded with roe no matter what type.
