HI everyone.

Just a short intro.

I work in Brisbane in the IT field.

I fish at Bribie with he kids nearly every Saturday.

Unfortunately i don't have a boat.

I used to fish Bribie as a kid but haven't really fished much until the last 3 months. So that's a break of about 25 years!! :ohmy:

I'm here to learn anything and everything about fishing.

Hiya, try to find a user under name "mullet musketeer" (spelling) - he's got a few reports from up around bribe way and always seems to do well on the lures so getting out for a sesh with him would be pretty good!

I have done a little bit of fishing on Bribie island but not to much luck. So can not help you out much there. But I was told there is some good flathead in the mouth of the canals. that's where i'd start.

Donnybrook can do OK landbased when chasing a feed too. And its a bit more sheltered from the wind and not so crowded on the weekends

You can rent out boats on bribie island very cheap. Good reliable boats and wonderful staff. i use these guys a fair bit..
