Fishing The Pin Saturday 25th June 2011

Huge day fishing The Pin with Peter Cashman. Caught 100+ fish between us but were plagued by Bream 23-24cms & Tailor 31-34cms. 18 legal fish total. Looks good for next year - new size limits having the desired effects if our experience is anything to go by. Berkley Minnows/Shrimps did the damage with the Bream but the Tailor and Flathead were climbing over each other to jump on our new Rainbow coloured Bonehead lure

Heading down the pin tomorrow for a very over due fish the fish stocks for next year will be excellent with the last 3 months probably plaguing catches of 23-24cm bream

A little bit of detective work in about 2-3 weeks might do the trick

Nice session !

I've heard a few reports of good catches down the Pin this weekend. One story was told where the fishing was that good they decided to spend 4 hours relaxing and recouperating atop a sand bank for 4 hours before continuing on and catching several more flatties in the 50 to 68cm category.:whistle: No pests with this man ! :silly:

I would rather be at Plugger rock catching reefies but this wasnt a bad second!
