As advised in going fishing noticeboard we went down to the Hinze today.

We were late getting away as mate had his car booked in at Wow at underwood at 9am. We were later by 15 minutes as Amart also didnt open till 9am so we all trooped in and brought some lures and g vibes.

Arrived at Hinze western ramp and arrived at teds waterfall about 11am.

Fish were on straight away with Johns first fish at about 23cm.

We were plagued by banded grunter which make you cry with shrimp at 60c each.

Fish went off the bite , and we ran out of bait at around 12.30.

Final tally was 20 unders, 15 legal , most of the legal were between 34 to 40cm. Not too bad from 65 shrimp.

Best spot was about 30ft out from waterfall on drop off from 15 to 28ft of water.

I tried 3 different g vibes and some soft plastics when they were hitting the shrimp and didnt get a touch so I went back to shrimp.

Beautiful day ,wind picked up to abouy 5kph on way back, and a bonus of fish for dinner.

Nice one Ray.

I know the exact spot.

They also school up around that rowing structure.

After the feed we had at the winter camp i can certainly understand why you would take a feed!!
