queensland Creek Bass

My first report, Went out to a creek about 20 minutes from home today to see if there were any bass in there, Looked like a very "bassy" creek as it was quite narrow and there was plenty of structure. First cast and I was on to a lovely little bass that was in good shape and very hungry as it engulfed my lure. Went a bit quiet for about half an hour so I decided to move up to a different spot, wasn't having a great deal of luck so i thought i'd try a vib, after a few casts I was sure the vib was swimming properly so as it got close to the bank i just swam it back and forth in front of me then.. boooooof a bass absolutely smashed in right in front of my eyes which was a pleasant surprise although it scared the shit out of me haha. Headed home soon after that as I was constantly getting snagged and didn't want to lose any lures.

Both fish were only small but still in good nick first was about 30-35 second was a smidge under 30.

Great to have a little spot like that so close to home, don"t worry about losing a few lures it's all part of the fun
