My older boy and I were thinking about taking the canoe to colleges to try for some bass again last Thursday but as it was a bit windy and that would make it a bit awkward and the tides were a bit late we decided not to go. On hearing that we were not going my younger son asked take me fishing then if Jordon won't go. My wife was keen to try her luck on the garfish at colleges so the three of us headed down for a fish of the bank.Unfortunatley the gar were verry slow and the missus only got one landed the wind was being a real pain for her. I did not get to put a line in of my own because I was kept busy Baiting up casting and taking fish of for my son. He ended up catching 10 barred grunter and 2 spangled perch in 1.5hrs with heaps of bites. here are a few of his catches.

This spangled perch was his prize catch of the day.He had a fun afternoon and my wife and I had an enjoyable time watching and helping him. I some how do not think I will have mutch trouble getting him to come on fishing expeditions later on.
