HDS 5 Lowrance - Anyone got one.

Does anyone have a lowrance hds fish finder,mine works fine going out the seaway looses all depths at speed but when i get to a mark in doesnt read the bottom, and sometimes tells me im in less than 2 meters of water.

Also wouldnt mind checking a few settings with you to make sure im set up right.

yep, got on, along with most my mates too.

just had the new software upgrade put on it too.

I have one and love it!, I had the same problem and had to lower the transducer and now it works fine up to about 18knotts.
