Quick report - no luck though

Just thought I would do a quick report of an attempted shark session myself and some friends had on Friday night. We went down to Leis Park in Petrie around 630 and fished until midnight. High Tide was 636pm from memory. Unfortunately no sharks, all that we caught was 3 catfish between the five of us. We were using Mullet and 1/2 Pike as bait on a set of gangs with 60lb wire trace. We're all from South Aus so thought we would try to tick bull sharks off the 'Things to catch' list up here in QLD but all we really managed to do was get slaughtered by mosquitoes, the bites are still itchy haha. Hopefully we will have a bit more luck next time.

Next time try sending one of those catfish out as bait

you'll always do better with live bait guys, if you are going to use dead bait the best thing is chunks of eel
