Aquarium......?

Just wondering how many people on here that are into fishing have fish that they keep at home in an a aquarium?

Lots of people of met that are into fishing have tanks.

I've got a 3 foot tank with a salmontail catfish and a baby barra...plus another 3 foot tank with a big Oscar and some American cichlids. 6 x 2 foot tank coming soon...

I have a 50cm Barra in a 4x1.2x1.5ft tank. He really needs a bigger home. Something 2ft wide and tall so he can acctually turn around.

I have a 5ft marine aquarium with a pair of maroon clownfish and a couple of surgeonfish. Also have assorted corals and a giant clam.

I've been keeping natives for a few years, although I don't have all that many. I've got several tanks, but my main one is 6ft. I had a 'toga, a couple of barra and a murray cod living in it with a few redclaws.

The Murray ended up going in his own tank as he kept beating up the other fish, even chomped his mouth either side of the missus' finger when she was doing a water change.

The 'toga we had to give away as he was getting too big for the tank, He got up to 60cm before I gave him to a mate with a bigger tank, he's now well over 80cm and going strong!

I got another barra recently and I just introduced him to shrimp. Also got a sucker fish in there with him to keep things tidy.

I got my whole setup (cheap tank + filter + aerator + gravel + 2 plants + barra + sucker + snail + Pellets + a few shrimp for JR everynow and then for under $50.) so all you's who say its too expensive theres something wrong with you!

Mother is getting a big tank with Archer fish for her birthday, that'll be fun.

I have one tank. Its fome to a purple spotted gudgeon and a Saratoga. I am thinking of chucking an archer fish in there as well.

I only have a small 2 foot tank with a couple of ghostknives, gouramis and small angels.

I want to get another one to put a few redclaws in it.

I have a 120x50x50 tank but I have a couple of terrapin turtles in it, so the fish that go in there don't last very long! I wouldn't mind getting one of those aquariums that Yamaha had at the Fishing & Boating show, hey?

I have 2+ 4ft and 2+ 2ft tanks.

Gourami's, hongi's, ghostknife and a spangled perch.

My Boss wants me to part with the lot, tanks and all.:pinch:

But I'm thinking I could do with a few more.....:evil:

I had 2 fighting fish....until they decided to swim down my sink when i was cleaning the tank. then when i tried to save them they wernt in the bend bit

i now have a murray cod bout 10cm and an electric yellow that the missus wont let me get rid of...one day the cod will eat it i hope:P

The cod will definately eat it some day! Mine used to eat massive blueclaw, then sit on the bottom of the tank for several days digesting them. You'd see a full-on lump in his belly where it was.
