Help With a Daiwa Certate

Hey guys,

I just got a Daiwa Certate 2000 and I have seen that it is left handed. Can anyone help me and tell me if I can change it to right handed. I looked at the instructions and they dont help at all.

HI Viper

Generally you can chage it over no differently than any other reel:

1. screw off the hub

2. rotate the handle in reverse holding the body to undo the arm

3. swap over and screw them back on

When I bought my my Daiwa Hi Gear Custom 2004 from Japan the arm was not screwed in but the hub was and I couldn't undo the hub to swap it from left to right, in the end it was just screwed on extremely tight!!!

You may have the same issue.

My mate Henry just put blue tack around the hub so we had some grip and finally got it off

Thanks mate, mine came from Japan and was packaged the same way. I thought that it would be like any other reel but gee this thing must be on friggin tight lol.
