68mm Waxwing lures

Has anyone tried the Shimano Waxwing lure in the estuaries???

The 68mm size might be ok.

I think they would go great on flathead and trevs, I know the striped tuna liked them.

ive seen good tailor caught on them so if theres tailor in the estuary then i recon you'd smash them

Im not too familiar with these lures... Do they sink or are they like a sub surface lure??? I've seen how they swim and think the action looks great!!!

Haven't used the smaller model but the bigger 110 size absolutely rocks on the small yellow fin and stripies offshore just cast it out and slow wind it back with out doing anything with the rod.

This will be a sweet lure Estuary species such as Trevally, Queenfish, Tailor and etc. Pretty keen for one

My first spottie in the bay last year came off a 68mm waxing wing. The got a action to them when just rolled on surface.

They go well for tuna and dolphin fish too.

Only downside, cant cast them that far due to weight and dont work well if theres abit of chop.
