jighead weights

Mate I start with a big one and go up or down in size depends on the speed of the drop and current.

Now that sounds stupid but I realy have no idea unless I see it. I don't know how everyone remembers what's what but I do know if the weight doesn't feel right in my hand.

I have read so many mags now that I get confused. It's time for me to go back to fishing by instint and not by remote control.

thanks guys,

went out there friday, nothing but crap with a capital F, blowy and rough, i reckon the 10-15 forcast was blown out of the water by about 10kt. someone told me years ago to not bother going there if there is any west at all in the wind. i've fished there a thousand times, not always landing nice fish but usually something worth a photo. i have never really taken any notice of wind direction, only speed, yesterday was a solid NWer. now i know thats fishing, but is there anything in old mates theory and why?

jamie...
