queensland Finally some Yellas NPD 15/9/12

Went out fishing in our tinny for the first time today at NPD. Launched at around 7.30 and started fishing with shrimp at 8.30. Mum's line was only in the water for a few minutes when she immediately got a 49.5cm yellow belly. Then Bethany got a yella around 47cm which weighed 1.67kg. I was a bit miffed that I didn't get one so I got a photo of it as well. It's always a good sign when you come back from your first trip and take out the bungs and no water comes out!

Some good sized fish there.

I was going to head up there this morning but was too lazy so I am going tomorrow.

Good luck for tomorrow. I'll send the photos to Bush n Beach when it's MY yellow belly! :whistle: Was a beautiful day on the water, with barely anyone out. Dad though he had a huge yella, but when it came to the surface he was pretty sad because it was only a Tandan for him!
