Hi All

The SEQ Flyfishers based on the Gold Coast have organised a day with Juan Del Carmen.

For those who may not know Juan he has fished through five continents with some of the best and been engaged as technical advisor to the Spanish, British and French teams competing in world flyfishing championships.

Juan's presentations are always highly informative,helpful, interesting and very humourous.

THE SPECIAL EVENT

Currumbin Special School Saturday September 29th

8AM - 10AM Flytying with some hints from Juan

10AM - 12.00 Juan Del Carmen presentation

12.00 - 1PM BBQ lunch

1PM - 3PM casting and tuition

Juan has asked that you bring(or borrow) a 6 or 7 weight rod with 3 metre leader and false fly of coloured wool or similar

You are asked to contribute $10 towards the school and the BBQ. Please PM me to register to aid in catering.

Hey Norm,

As a former fly tying addict, i would love to go to this, but as most who don't want to get addicted again, they must resist the temptation.

So i will give it a miss, thanks and good luck.
