queensland Donnybrook land fishing options

Hi Everyone

I have been fishing at Bribie Island(land based) quite a few times and I would like to try somewhere else for a change. I mainly target flathead (with sp's) whiting and bream and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good land based options around the Donnybrook area? I also would welcome any suggestions of good land based fishing to take kids as my niece and nephews enjoy throwing a line in (until they lose concentration) and would like any suggestions on "kid freindly" fishing spots where they have a chance at catching a fish and then the family can have a bbq lunch in a nice area afterwards. Hi mate,

The beach stretching from Scott's Point to Suttons Park (Margate Beach) near Redcliffe is a good spot at high tide. It is also "kid friendly" and Suttons Park has got beautiful BBQ facilities

Calm side of Bribie. Plenty of park area on the water. Also the surfside but bring your own bbq
