Afternoon, just found this awesome forum and decided to join. I've only been fishing seriously for about 1 month now, I went on a deep sea fishing charter off the Gold Coast and caught myself a nice Macktuna, now I'm hooked (pardon the pun). I live in north-side Brisbane and I'm hoping to go shark fishing in the Brissie River at some stage soon. If someone told me one of the best rushes you can get is having a fish bite the end of your line I would have laughed; but now I can honestly say it's true. Oh well I'll keep it short, look forward to posting in the forums,

If you could keep your catches quiet from the goldy that would be great as the boat ramps are pretty full down this way
