Long story short, just a very sincere thank you to Shortie, Lance (Aussie 123) and Rob Searing(Zimman) for getting me out of some very deep shizenhauser over the weekend. Thats the beauty of social events like these; good crew that will go out of their way to help. Cheers again!

To those that didn't attend can I just reiterate how important regular maintenance of trailer wheel bearings is!!!! :blush:

Had a ball despite the initial set back and was great to finally catch a bass or 12 on a lure and on the surface none the less . Also great to catch up with some regular crew and to meet some other AFO members..

I too had a very Interesting to say the least weekend.

Arrived Friday. Unpack gear, setup camp, and startrdd to organise shrimp and redclaw pots.

When, came hobbling back to camp crying after going for a bush walk by himself.

The was a wee bit of blood dribbling from his leg. Dam kid needs to toughen up.

A quick trip onto Boonah. 15 stiches later. Sam took the pics whilst he was getting stitched up. I wont post the video he took.

Actually quite proub of him. The promise of an ice cream and we remained for the entire weekend with miminual whining.

A mate of mine was using my rod and reel about $600 worth, when a greedy bass snatched it from the rod holder he put it in.

2 casts later with a blade and the rod was hooked and brought back into the boat, along with the greedy bass still attached to its hook.

I witnessed a certain member have not 1 but 2 mishaps in their new Hairdresser hair.

Great weened guys. Thank to all the participated. TOmca will post up shortly what funds are going back to AFO for the site we all enjoy.

Great pics sweresy bad luck on the trailer but at least there were a few helpful (jeering?) hands to get you out of the pickle. Shortie that boy of yours certainly did a good job of that! Good on him that's going to be a cracker scar lol
