Holiday suggestions anyone?

Hi guys

Now that Christmas is over I have started thinking about Easter holidays. I'm looking at going away with my family (5 adults and 3 kids) for a few nights. We all love fishing (just land based) and was after any suggestions for nice holiday parks / cabins in NSW where the cabins are close enough to walk to the water to throw a line in. Just estaury fishing would be fine. Will have my mum and dad with me who are elderly so not real keen on rock fishing. Has anyone been to or heard of any nice places to stay at?

The camp ground at Brunswick Heads.

Fishing is great and in walking distance of the camp ground, the local tackle shop sells live worms and the pub has fantastic feeds.

Iluka just befor yamba is a nice little place as well , river on one side and a rocky ledge into the ocean on the other ...Matt

Yeah I've been researching Ballina with the plan to stay there for the September holidays for a fishing comp and the Shaws Bay caravan park looks a good family one. Right on the river and within about 5mins walk of the beach,plus close enough to the town centre. Have fun!!
