Dam's that are free to kayak fish on ???

Hi All

I was woundering if their are any dam's on the northside of brisbane, that you do not require a permit to take your kayak on to fish. Just starting out & have only taken the kayak to youngs crossing road part of north pine river(no luck) but had fun splashing around.

Ewan maddock is paddle and sail only no permit for access and no sip needed. Baroon Pocket is leccy and yak no sip of access permit needed.

Stuck at work today so thought i would do something constructive and got a yearly sip.

What is a leccy ?? do you know much about the permit's for Baroon Pocket

Leccy is electric motor. No permits required at Baroon Pocket but no petrol powered motors allowed. Lake mcdonald is another option up that way. It is electric only but you do not have to remove your petrol motor .You need a SOP at Mcdonald.

In you read the fine print, a seq boating permit is required for all boats transported on a boat trailer.

Kayak on top of a box trailer would not count.
