Creek sesh

Quick report.

Decided to give the creeks a go to see if the bass were biting after the rain (and to test out my new pflueger trion 1-3 kg and 1000 size sienna reel). :)

Chucked on my cheapest lure so I could get used to the casting of the new setup knowing that if I do a bad cast I won't be losing 20 bucks :silly:

First cast I was on to a 30 cm bass on the $4 green and pink outback lure :woohoo:

Next cast lost it in a tree. :whistle:

Ended up with 2 over the two hour session and my mate Olly with two as well. The biggest 32 and smallest 22. Pretty small! Was fairly slow but definitely worth it.

One of the greedy little bass had 2 crickets, a cicada and a yabbie shoved down its gob! One of the crickets and the cicada were still alive too. Pretty cool.

Here's Olly trying to work out what was in the bass' mouth!

I'm always learning new things bassing;

1. Cheap lures work too

2. Orange and pink are the best colours for the creeks at the moment ;)
