queensland Land Based Coomera River With Live Bait

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of spending an afternoon/evening fishing the Coomera land based using some live and dead herring and maybe some strips of eel.

I have never fished the Coomera before so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction if I was after some little bullies, jacks and whatever else might take these baits?

Don't need any secret spots just a vicinity so that I'm not wasting my time. Upper reaches, lower reaches?

The highway bridge is probably a good spot to try, if not that try up top near the weir.

Went out there last night not even a touch. Packed up and went down to the gc marina in coomera there and caught 3 31 cm whiting and a jewfish.

I was setting up a transducer on my tinnie and trolling the same time had a 50 ish flattie up by the railway bridge.

A lot of structure by the highway bridge.
