queensland Looking to get out this Saturday if you've got a spare spot?

Hey all

Just putting a post out in case anyone has a vacant spot on their boat this Saturday, I'm from WA and would love to have a crack at some local fishing while I'm here. I have all my gear and am happy to throw in for petrol, tucker, beers etc... whatever is needed, I've got plenty of boating experience and good sea legs.

I'm in Petrie and am happy to travel.

Debating what my plan is for this weekend at this stage. Hoping to hit the bay but the weather forecast looks a little all over the shop.

What sort of fishing you into mate - other than the reports we see from the west, not many dhuies over here!

Yeah agree on the weather. Back in Perth I mainly do vertical jigging and occasional plastics fishing for snapper, dhuies, trevs, tuskfish and the like. If I'm getting outfished madly by my baitfishing mates then I'll eventually cave and change over but that doesn't happen too often, things are about equal. If the weather is average I fish the river for bream and flatties on hardbodies.

Will drop you a PM if the weather forecast improves enough and you want to come and hit the bay. Not a lot in the vertical jigging stakes going on but hopefully a few shallow water snapper on plastics.
