gday to all, just wondering if the brissie river classic is on this year?

Not likely no.

BRC has always been our most problematic event due tot he excessive numbers of permits required on top of the usual insurance. One for the park, port, council it is quite crazy. Post flood interest also waned causing a break even event to burn a bit of a hole in BFO/AFO pockets two years running. In short, the event was just not viable.

There will be an official announcement regarding 2014 events in the not to distant future once details are firmed but the Summer Classic and Moreton Bay Classic will most likely be our signature events moving forward, with possible an Australian wide online event, a couple of promoted socials (Winter Camp etc) and a hearty AFO endorsement of other great community events like the Blue Fin Classic.

all good mate, didn't realise the amount of permits ect required to run. can't blame you for that, i'll just have to try and beat you lot at the other comps ezy
