Finally back on line after a laptop meltdown!!

Unfortunately, the new one came pre-loaded with windows 8 and what a pile of crap it is!!

Apart from all the pain in having to create accounts to access things, I'm finding it really difficult to re set up my email accounts. Windows 8 is not keen at all about bigpond!!

I think I'll delete windows 8 and reload 7.

Its been down for days. Perhaps it was connected to your laptop

It's a real pain to try & rebuild all your links & contacts.

I'm in the process of trying to recover all the data/files from the old laptop.

Hopefully, if they can make a backup, I can reload it on this laptop and get rid of window 8.
