TL;DR some guy got his boat trailer wheels stolen, when he left boat and trailer at ramp to get new tyres, came back and the lot was stolen.

Saw this on that other forum and can't help wondering if it is another of those urban myths?? Always a bit suspicious about the old mate of a mate stories. If true, it was a well planned and executed heist.

Yeah, that is a common ploy the mongrels.

They wait for you to disappear to get more wheels, put your wheels back on load your boat and drive away. Happened to a bloke in my fishing club about 4 years ago at the old uhlmann rd Ramp on the caboolture river.

If you ever find your wheels gone, never ever leave your boat alone.

ever since nudgee ramp was opened it has had these sort of things happen .never ever leave car and trailer there after 9:00pm or something will happen. al
