queensland 1770 trip, 3 to 6 October. come along.

I am heading off to 1770 Friday 3rd October in the afternoon and returning Monday afternoon. Taking my 5.1m bowrider. My regular fishing mates don't want to go because it is grandfinal weekend, so stuff them!

If you want to come along, feel free to join me. Planning on sleeping in the ute at the 1770 camping grounds.

I'll probably check out the closer reefs and mix in some shore and creek fishing as well. Bring a boat, jump in mine, fish off the shore, whatever.

Would be good to gather some afo members around the fire at night and relax with a beer or 3.

Looks like it's just me and my son. We'll no doubt head to the 1770 pub to watch the rabbits win on Saturday night.

What bad timing for me, I'd jump at the opportunity to go up to 1770, never been there and its on one of my bucket lists, just forked out on rego and other unwanted costs.

Stuffed until late November at the earliest.
