Help needed with 86 Johnson 15hp

Hi there...i recently replaced the ripcord on my motor (Johnson 86 15hp J15RCRM) but during the process i have dislodged a small spring from the starter interlock mechanism. This is a small red plastic arm that prevents the ripcord from being pulled when the motor is running (locks into the flywheel to prevent it from turning). I know where the spring came from but can not figure out how it fits in and what it needs to be in contact with etc. If anybody is familiar with this make or era of Johnsons then i would appreciate any help i can get (photo would help).

Cheers

Craig

Craig - I'm not at all mechanically minded, so can't help. But I would recomend going to Downes Marine. He's a Johnson/Evinrude dealer and I reckon he's a pretty decent fella. Been doing it forever, took over from his father, who in turn took over from his father. I've only ever had good dealings with him - for what ever my opinion is worth.
