lure flicking around cairns

Yeah I've used a lot of lures around cairns in suburban saltwater creeks and stuff but still unsure of what's the best lure for this sorta stuff

Those ones I mentioned. 

Big jacks in there as well. 

You gotta cast lengthways up the pontoon and land the lure 50mm from the edge of the pontoon. 

If it's 100mm out, then they won't look at it.

when u use the word pontoon do u mean underneath the boats?

Yep, and all those floating walkways in the marina that the boats are tied up to. 

It used to be open to everyone.

This day and age I reckon the marina might be gated.
