caboolture river tomorrow

hey guys, i was suppose to fish boggy creek tomorrow but tried it this arvo after my disappointing morning at the pine and my fishing drought continues atleast i got 1 muddie in the pot but it was a jennie so she went back to fight another day.

Was thinking about giving the caboolture river a try as im going to be up that way anyway. Has anyone fished there before and if so how was it?

The wind is also suppose to get up to 25knots from the SE by the arvo so r there any spots protected from the wind.

Launch from beachmere may be hairy with a 25knot SE, the Uhlmann Rd ramp might be better protected, but it is still fairly exposed. Once in, head upstream and you should be able to get out of the wind.

Land based, take the Beachmere road, there are a few good spots you can access the river, the road runs along the river in a couple of places, as well as a couple of small parks. Have a look at the refidex.

I was down at the Uhlmann Rd ramp this arvo,, the water looked like weak tea... A lot of small bream around near the ramp...

Didn't make it to the river, the water pump in my car shat itself just past morayfield:angry: its been a good holiday so far no fish and now no car:(

yeah just needs a new water pump just short of cash at the moment, spent to much when i was in melbourne. All good anyway my old man lent me his car so i can go fishing in the morning:)
