Most Effective Bait For Brisbane River

Just wondering what you all think is the most effective bait, SP or hard body in the river???and what you all usually use.

lures sure do work in the river . and for bait you cant go past live prawns and herring if you have a cast net.

Pretty much what dave and ando said.

Livies are great. Prawns and herring being my favourite. Something larger like mullet if you are after sharks.

There have also been a lot of Bream claimed on 3'' Powerbaits.

Yeh lures work, At the moment I'm using gulps because the river isn't very clear and I rekon they can smell it and that makes up for vision loss. But then again they go on vibration aswell.
